TORONTO – TSN has signed electronics retailer The Source as a presenting partner of its afternoon sports show Overdrive, which is now broadcast in its entirety weekdays from 4:00-6:00 PM ET on TSN4 and 6:00-7:00 PM ET on TSN2.
Hosted by Bryan Hayes, Jamie “Noodles” McLennan and Jeff “O-Dog” O’Neill, Overdrive offers entertaining insights in to life in the sports world, including interviews with players, coaches, and industry insiders, along with a dose of the hosts’ hilarious stories.
The partnership kicks off Monday as the show broadcasts live on-location at Maple Leaf Square in Toronto in advance of Game 3 between the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins. The show will integrate The Source into its TV broadcasts via on-screen promos, special features, on-set branding, show logos, and product integration. The game airs live at 7:00 PM ET on TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto, immediately following Overdrive.
“Overdrive has quickly become appointment listening, and we’re excited to partner with Canada’s largest tech retailer as the program’s lead sponsor,” said Bell Media’s brand partnerships & client strategy VP Alyson Walker, in the news release. “It was a natural fit to bring the entirety of one of our most popular radio shows to TSN’s television viewers across the country, and the addition of The Source will deliver new features and integrations to up the ante even further.”
The Overdrive agreement builds on the existing content partnership between The Source and TSN, including the recurring “Tech in 60” segments airing across various TSN programs.
