TSN, Blue Jays extend broadcast deal to 2010

TORONTO – CTVglobemedia-owned TSN announced Thursday it has inked a four-year extension to 2010 of its broadcast deal with the Toronto Blue Jays. The agreement includes the broadcast of 80 regular season games, beginning with 20 matches in the 2007 season, all in high definition. One spring training game per year is also included. In 2006, TSN said it averaged 415,000 viewers per broadcast over a 23-games package. Rod Black and Pat Tabler team up for the sixth consecutive year to anchor TSN’s Blue Jays broadcasts. TSN has been airing Blue Jays baseball for 24 years.
