TORONTO – Bell Media announced today TSN 1050 Toronto has a new morning drive program called First up With Korolnek and Colaiacovo, which debuted this morning.
The show is being led by Carlo Colaiacovo, a former Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman, “alongside long-time TSN Radio host and producer Aaron Korolnek,” a press release says. The hosts “kick off the day by exploring the biggest headlines, trending stories, and debates from around the world of sports, including in-depth discussions with athletes, analysts, and TSN Insiders.”
First up With Korolnek and Colaiacovo, airs weekdays on TSN 1050 from 6-10 a.m., the timeslot previously filled by First up With Landsberg and Colaiacovo (TSN announced Landsberg was leaving the show in late July.) The show is also available on iHeartRadio.ca, the iHeartRadio Canada app, through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and major podcast platforms.
It is part of TSN 1050’s new daily lineup, which includes Leafs Lunch, hosted by Julia Tocheri and Michael ‘Al’s Brother’ DiStefano from 12-1 p.m, Game Play, hosted by Matthew Cauz from 1-4 p.m., and Overdrive, hosed by Bryan Hayes, Jamie ‘Noodles’ McLennan and Jeff ‘The O’Dog’ O’Neill from 4-7 p.m.
“We’re excited to continue to connect with Toronto sports fans every day with this dynamic new lineup of entertaining, informed personalities,” said Jeff MacDonald, program director at TSN 1050 Toronto, in the press release. “TSN 1050 brings fans smart, informed sports debate and discussion throughout the day, beginning with Carlo and Aaron each morning,” he said.
