Trekkit ATV series rides on to REV TV

BURLINGTON, Ont. — REV TV Canada announced today Canadian-produced series Trekkit ATV will debut on the motorsports channel this Wednesday.

Trekkit ATV features “a group of mainly first-time ATV owners who head out to see the splendour of New Brunswick off-road. The inexperienced crew tackles mud, mishaps and witnesses the majesty of remote places by ATV. The conditions include managed and unmanaged trails consisting of dirt, dust, mud, and brutal rocky trails,” reads a REV TV Canada press release.

Trekkit ATV really gives the viewer the experience that they are along for the journey in each season, which is why we are delighted to start with season 1 and 2 this month,” said Mike Garrow, president of REV TV, in the release. The Trekkit team meanwhile, will be out shooting season three this month,  “and starting Friday, August 13th viewers will be able to follow along on their blog or Facebook via live social media posts.”

In season three, the Trekkit crew embarks on a 2,500-kilometre journey on ATVs circumnavigating the province of New Brunswick.

“We are looking forward to meeting new friends and reconnecting with old friends plus the adventure a ride of this length entails,” said Trekkit ATV founder Ryan Groom.

“Do the bikes hold up? Does the crew hold up? Check out season 1 and 2 on Rev TV Canada, follow us on Facebook, or our live blog site as we ride for 15 days to capture the thrill of ATVing for season 3,” Groom added.

Season one of Trekkit ATV premieres on REV TV on Wednesday, August 11 at 10:30 p.m. ET.
