TORONTO – Just in time for summer road trips, Corus Entertainment has launched a TreehouseGo app for viewers (and their parents) of the popular preschool network Treehouse.

Designed for kids aged 2 to 6, TreehouseGo is playful and easy for kids to navigate, providing them with on-the-go access to series such as Dora and Friends, Little Charmers, Octonauts, Toopy & Binoo, Bubble Guppies and Mike the Knight.  Free to subscribers of the linear TV service in Canada on iOS and Android devices, the app offers full-length episodes on demand, the option to watch the channel live via the Live TV icon, or offline with the "My Backpack" download-to-go option.

"We're thrilled to begin rolling out a full suite of Corus Kids brands specially optimized for mobile devices, beginning with TreehouseGO," said Colin Bohm, VP television, head of Corus Kids, in Monday's press release.  "These apps ensure that our content is everywhere consumers are and available to them whenever and wherever they want it."

Corus said last November that it would also launch TV Everywhere apps for its YTV and Teletoon channels.
