TORONTO – Streaming worldwide today on iHeartRadio Canada and everywhere podcasts are found are The Munk Debates Podcast, a 30-episode weekly podcast which is an extension of the Munk Debates’ main-stage events.

Taped in-studio in Toronto and made by Antica Productions, the episodes feature brand-new debates, as well as a few recuts of classic Munk Debate stage events, on topics such as religion, “the end of men”, and political correctness.

“The Munk Debates is a highly regarded forum delivering some of the sharpest minds in the world, and we are thrilled to bring it to iHeartRadio Canada with Antica Productions,” said Rob Farina, Bell Media’s head of radio content, strategy, and iHeartRadio. “Each episode provides listeners in-depth, smart, and inspiring conversations about today’s most interesting topics.”

Hosted by Rudyard Griffiths, chair of the Munk Debates, the podcast series will cover hot-button topics such as the #MeToo movement, the future of democracy, and the threat of artificial intelligence to humanity. Among the debaters featured are Stephen Fry, Steve Bannon, Bret Stephens, Niall Ferguson, Bari Weiss , Kimberly Strassel, David Brooks, Jordan Peterson, and others.

Like the live Munk Debates, the podcast features two debaters with sharply different points of view going head-to-head. Each 40-minute episode provides listeners with both sides of a debate so they can make up their own mind while being inspired by a smart, challenging conversation, says the press release.
