OTTAWA — Independent broadcaster Torres Media Group announced last week Danny Kingsbury (above) has been hired for a new role as executive programming advisor. With more than 41 years of experience in Canadian radio, Kingsbury is a former vice-president, general manager and director at Rogers Sports and Media, where he most recently worked as national format director for rock radio, according to a press release announcing his appointment.
