TORONTO – The NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs are shooting to recruit another generation of fans with a new kids club that includes a family-friendly mobile app.

Dubbed Club Maple Leafs, the new kids' platform includes first game programming, an enhanced in-game experience, kids’ apparel, ticket offers, events, and contests.  The Club Maple Leafs mobile application (available on iTunes and Google Play), allows users to build their own avatar, track the Leafs' schedule and statistics, and test their team knowledge.

Club Maple Leafs was unveiled Sunday in Toronto at Air Canada Centre, in association with children’s clothing chain Carter's | OshKosh.

"We are thrilled to launch Club Maple Leafs and allow our youngest fans to connect with their favourite hockey team throughout the season," said Reid Black, senior director of marketing for the Toronto Maple Leafs, in the news release.  "Whether kids are interacting with the Leafs in a digital space through our new mobile app or connecting in-person through kid-friendly events, experiences and in-game features, we're confident that Club Maple Leafs will help Leafs Nation's newest members bond with the team."
