MONTREAL – Season 7 of singing competition La Voix will debut next month with Marc Dupré, Lara Fabian, Éric Lapointe and Alex Nevsky in the famous red coaches' chairs, and TD among the main sponsors.
The Quebec version of The Voice is the most watched show in the province and the edition with the highest market share of the entire franchise worldwide, said Quebecor in a news release. The show will return February 10 on TVA.
"Quebecor is pleased that TD is partnering with La Voix”, said Quebecor's Advertising Network EVP Donald Lizotte, in the release. “With its phenomenal ratings, this flagship program is the perfect vehicle to connect with Quebeckers. People here have a profound attachment to the show, year in and year out.”
In addition to La Voix, TD sponsors more than 90 music festivals and 100 community music programs across the country.
"Music reminds us that we are all connected through common interests and ideas," added Sylvie Demers, Quebec market president, TD Bank Group. "Each week, more than two million music fans tune in to La Voix and, in doing so, help grow and promote homegrown talent. That is why we are proud to be associated with this flagship program in Quebec's cultural landscape."
