HALIFAX — To help entertain families while socially distancing at home during the Covid-19 pandemic, kids channel Toon-A-Vision announced Tuesday it is launching on Cogeco and will be available free to all Cogeco customers on channel 729 as of April 22, 2020.
“Toon-A-Vision’s newest partnership with Cogeco means more Canadian families will have access to fresh new shows they’ve never seen before,” says Adam Mimnagh, president of Toon-A-Vision, in the news release. “We provide safe, but funny content that isn’t available in Canada on other children’s networks, or streaming services, which gives us that special something that we think families are looking for.”
Since launching in October 2018, Toon-A-Vision has been continuously adding new programming and most of the content is not seen anywhere else. Toon-A-Vision’s programming is divided into three age segments: The Lagoon (ages 2-6), EH Vast (ages 6-12) and T@Night (age 12+).
Toon-A-Vision is currently available on Eastlink channel 749, on Bell Satellite TV channel 567, Bell FibeTV channel 565 and channel 1565, Bell Alt TV channel 565, Bell Aliant FibeTV channel 255 and channel 497, Bell MTS FibeTV channel 1034 in Manitoba and now on Cogeco channel 729.
