Tomlinson named new anchor for CBC News Windsor

WINDSOR, ON – Asha Tomlinson has been named new host of CBC News Windsor, the Corp. announced Wednesday. Tomlinson, a University of Windsor graduate, will debut as newscast anchor, which runs from weeknights 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., on September 2. Tomlinson’s previous journalism work includes stints at commercial television stations in Toronto, London, Winnipeg, and Edmonton, and for the public broadcaster in Nunavut before returning to Toronto almost three years ago, to host at CBC News Network.
