
TORONTO — Multicultural lifestyle channel TLN Television announced this week its new season lineup, which includes new and returning food and travel shows, soccer, blockbuster movies and subtitled foreign films.
Soccer on TLN kicks off August 22 with the return of Serie A Italian League Soccer. TLN’s weekly Sunday coverage will feature more than 100 matches throughout the season with commentary in Italian.
The UEFA European Qualifiers to the FIFA World Cup 2022 will continue across TLN Media Group’s family of TV channels in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese starting September 1. In addition, the 2021 UEFA Nations League Finals will air live on TLN TV, Mediaset Italia and Univision Canada, starting October 6.
New lifestyle series to air this fall on TLN TV include Cook Like an Italian with Silvia Colloca (premiering Sept. 12), Boys Weekend with Miguel Maestre (Sept. 12) and Field Trip with Curtis Stone (Sept. 15).
New seasons of returning shows include Lidia’s Kitchen (Oct. 11), My Greek Table with Diane Kochilas (Sept. 11), Pati’s Mexican Table (Sept. 11), Tastes Like Home with Catherine Fulvio (Sept. 12) and Neven’s Spanish Food Trails (Sept. 16). Also scheduled to premiere this fall on TLN TV are David Rocco’s Dolce Southeast Asia and Open Fire with Rob Rossi and Craig Harding, with dates yet to be announced.
Every Friday through Sunday starting at 9 p.m. ET, TLN’s Mucho Movie Weekends will feature a double-bill of blockbuster movies, with Sundays starting Sept. 12 featuring films from Italy with English subtitles.
