TLN TV to air virtual Salsa in Toronto Festival in July

TORONTO — With Toronto’s summer festivals cancelled due to Covid-19, the Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has turned to TLN Television to provide a virtual TV and digital festival experience for Canadians across the country.

The TD Salsa in Toronto Festival — Canada’s largest celebration of Latin culture — will take place virtually on July 18 and 19. The virtual celebration will be broadcast nationally on TLN Media Group’s TLN TV channel, and the festival will also be streamed worldwide at tln.ca and across the festival’s social channels.

TLN Television is a co-founding partner of the Salsa in Toronto Festival.

“This annual festival is one of our proudest achievements. We are committed to keeping it going and keeping it growing. Whether on TV, online or in person, the show must go on!” said Aldo Di Felice, president of TLN Media Group, in the news release.

The lineup for this year’s virtual festival includes musical performances, salsa class instructions, authentic food recipe demonstrations, Latin art exhibits, and special guest segments throughout the broadcast. Additional festival details will be released in June.
