TORONTO – Multilingual broadcaster TLN Telelatino’s English-language programming for the 2013-14 TV season features a number of films, TV series and special events that commemorate the channel’s 30th anniversary next year.
With a cross-cultural collection of programming that exemplify TLN’s “Living life with Latin Gusto!” philosophy, the lineup, unveiled today, includes seven food-focussed lifestyle series new to TLN: Nigellissima, David Rocco’s Dolce India, When Patrick Met Kylie: An Italian Food Love Affair, Catherine’s Italian Kitchen & Catherine’s Roman Holiday, Stefano's Cooking Paradiso, Cooking with Nick Stellino, and Simply Italian with Michela Chiappa.
Opening Italy, a new TLN original lifestyle Series, showcases emerging local Toronto restauranteur-chefs Rob Rossi and Craig Harding making their marks on the Toronto restaurant scene and travelling to Italy to find food inspiration.
Returning series include the comedy Everybody Loves Raymond and the ever-popular CSI Miami drama series. New episodes will be available during the 2013-14 season for lifestyle series Lidia’s Italy in America, Magnifica Italia, and My Fair Wedding, and for TLN original microprogram series When in Rome.
Special event programming includes Bon Jovi Inside Out, the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil & UEFA Champions League event, Nigellissima Christmas Special, and Italian-inspired episodes of I Love Lucy.
