CALGARY – Star Choice has added two new high-definition channels to its lineup and will launch in May a new Super Channel premium television network.
Star Choice’s two new HD channels are TLC HD and Encore Avenue HD. TLC HD (channel 272) features lifestyle programming with popular series including Miami Ink, What Not To Wear, and Little People, Big World. The channel will be in a free preview to the end of May.
Encore Avenue HD (channel 273) provides movies, uncut and commercial-free, from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. The channel is available to Star Choice customers west of Ontario and will also be in a free preview to the end of May.
On May 7, Star Choice will launch four commercial-free Super Channel services on channels 616 through 619. In June, Star Choice will also launch Super Channel HD 1. Pricing and packaging for these channels will be announced later at www.starchoice.com.
