NASHVILLE – The RMS Titanic is getting its own SVoD channel available on computers, tablets and phones.
For US$4.95 per month or US$49.50 per year, TitanicChannel.tv promises compelling, all-original programming for enthusiasts of the iconic ship, including those who owned it, built it, served on it, sailed on it, the artifacts recovered from it, the era from which it came and the myths, legends and truths that have followed it for over 100 years. The service will also stream coverage from live events, including presentations and behind the scenes access from the Titanic Belfast events scheduled for April.
“Our goal is to curate a definitive global resource on all things Titanic, old and new, through programming that can be shared with anyone at the click of a button", said co-founder Gregory Hall, in the news release.
"We have exclusively assembled renowned Titanic scholars from all over the world, experts who provide the original programming, daily and exclusively to subscribers," added co-founder Donald Baret. "We're delivering new facts, new stories, theories, analysis and educated opinions behind the most famous ship in the world, whose hold on the interest and imaginations of people globally just doesn't diminish."
