NEW YORK, NY – Time Warner Cable has launched ‘Primetime On Demand’, a free channel that they are calling a “window into television’s hottest programs”.
The channel will air a collection of “hit shows” sourced from various U.S. broadcast and cable networks’ prime time lineups, including NBC, CBS, USA and FX.
“Primetime On Demand is a free on demand channel that our customers are going to love,” said Lisa Stockmon, vice president of corporate marketing, in a company announcement. “We are now able to provide more of the quality programming our customers have come to expect. And the best part is that it is now very convenient for them to see their favorite prime time shows at any time, all from the comfort of their couch.”
Saying the channel puts “the customers’ viewing schedule in their hands,” Time Warner Cable pledged to increase the amount of programming to include additional networks and broadcasts, going forward.
