
TORONTO – SiriusXM and TikTok announced today TikTok Radio (ch. 4) is now available in vehicles and on the SXM app, desktops, and other connected devices.
“Sonically synched to the TikTok experience, the groundbreaking, full-time SiriusXM music channel will sound like a radio version of the platform’s For You Feed,” a press release reads.
TikTok creators, including Canadian HINDZ (@hindzsight), “will present music and share the stories behind the trends throughout each hour. Listeners can expect to hear trending songs from music’s next generation of rising stars, viral hits, throwbacks and whatever else the TikTok community is vibing to.” Other hosts include Billy (@8illy), Cat Haley (@itscathaley), Lamar Dawson (@dirrtykingofpop), Taylor Cassidy (@taylorcassidyj), and DJ Habibeats (@djhabibeats).
“I actually got started making TikToks with my daughter to be able to relate to her more, but I had no idea how diverse it was until I dove in and started to share what I do,” said HINDZ, in the press release.
“Listeners can expect a tone they have never heard on the radio before – I bridge mindfulness, entertainment and culture together in a way that resonates with everybody. I’m not here to be seen, I’m here to be felt.”
The new channel will feature a weekly countdown, The TikTok Radio Trending Ten, airing Fridays at 3 p.m. ET and replaying throughout the week.
It will also feature DJ Habibeats (@djhabibeats) and DJ CONST (@erinconstantineofficial) spinning live on TikTok and TikTok radio every week on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. ET, with replays throughout the weekend.
To celebrate the launch, the channel will feature guest hosts throughout the week including Alex Warren, Bella Poarch, Dixie D’Amelio, Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X, and Spencer X.
“Our groundbreaking new channel with TikTok is a first-of-its-kind, capturing the pulse of the global music culture, vibrancy and vitality found on the entertaining social platform and recreated as a full-time music channel on live satellite radio and our streaming platforms,” said Scott Greenstein, president and chief content officer of SiriusXM, in the press release.
“The creators, who are also presenting the music on TikTok Radio, are deeply involved in the channel and will reflect the unique sound and personality of TikTok that is so enmeshed with today’s music culture and community.”
