VANCOUVER – Former CTV CEO Ivan Fecan (pictured) has been elevated to interim CEO of production company Thunderbird Entertainment.
He remains as executive chair of the Thunderbird board and will continue to produce the Canadian comedy series Kim's Convenience, the company said Tuesday.
In addition, Jennifer McCarron and Mark Miller have been promoted to co-presidents of the company. McCarron becomes CEO of Atomic Cartoons and joins the Thunderbird board, while Miller continues as CEO of Great Pacific Media (which Thunderbird purchased in 2014) and maintains his seat on the Thunderbird board.
“Jennifer and Mark have presided over the impressive growth of Atomic and Great Pacific, respectively, since Thunderbird acquired these companies”, reads the news release. “In their new roles, they will participate in the strategic direction of Thunderbird and the overall management of the company.”
Now-former CEO and Thunderbird co-founder Tim Gamble will become vice chair of the Thunderbird board, where he will continue to pursue new opportunities for the company, with a particular focus on intellectual property.
McCarron, Miller and Gamble, as well as COO Cam White, CFO Barb Harwood and SVP scripted production Alex Raffé, will report to Fecan and will all be part of the senior leadership team.
