Thirteen convergent projects share more than $7.5M in CMF funding through Francophone Minority Program

TORONTO - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) has awarded $7.5 million to 13 convergent projects as part of the first round of financing under the Francophone Minority Program.This program supports productions which reflect the realities of living in French-language communities outside Quebec.  The CMF has provided $89 million in funding to 218 projects through this program since 2010.The new productions, created for television and digital media, include one from British Columbia, two from Manitoba, three from New Brunswick, one from Nova Scotia and six from Ontario.  Three are drama productions, six are documentaries, and four are children’s and youth productions.Click here...
