CALGARY – The Western Hockey League announced this week that all 2006 WHL playoff games will be available via the Internet live on a pay-per-view (PPV) broadband basis.
The 2006 WHL Playoffs begins on Friday, March 24, 2006 and will be available for $6.95 per game or $16.95 for a complete best-of-seven playoff series.
Fans also have the opportunity to purchase the entire playoff package for only $99.95.
The majority of the broadcasts will be provided using a special “scout feed” that will combine a camera and the live audio from the home team’s radio broadcast.
The WHL has partnered with INSINC to do the webcasts.
