The Team takes Canucks from NW

VANCOUVER – After, um, forever with CKNW, the NHL's Vancouver Canucks will have a new radio home beginning next season. The Corus Entertainment-owned station and the team have been talking about a new contract for months, but according to a story on CKNW's web site, the team wanted twice as much as Corus was willing to pay. So, beginning in 2006, the Canucks will be found on CHUM Ltd.'s The Team 1040. Games will remain on NW for the rest of this season.
