The Q India now available on Dish TV’s d2h satellite TV service in India

MUMBAI and TORONTO — Canada-based QYou Media Inc. announced today its Hindi language youth-oriented channel, The Q India, is now available on d2h, a direct-to-home satellite TV service owned and operated by Dish TV India Ltd.

This builds on a distribution agreement The Q India previously signed with Dish TV India in April 2021. With the addition of d2h, which provides television service to approximately 10 million households across India, The Q India now reaches approximately 118 million TV households in the country, says a press release.

“As we push ahead in our goal of building the leading youth-focused Hindi general entertainment brand in India, it is critically important to have the maximum amount of reach possible into key markets,” said Curt Marvis, QYou Media CEO and co-founder, in the release.

“With the addition of d2h, one of India’s leading television platforms, we move closer to our goal. Over time, this new platform should provide more momentum for growth across brand building, ratings and revenue generation,” Marvis added.

In addition to Dish TV and d2h, The Q India’s TV distribution partners in India include DD Free Dish, Tata Sky, SitiNetworks, Den Networks, and Hathway Cable and Datacom.
