TORONTO – The radio station famous for its high-profile recruitment through such contests as the poorly/moderately paid employee program, this week announced the targeted job fair, Career Concepts.
Presented by CanWest MediaWorks’ working.com, Career Concepts takes place Friday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building.
Formerly Career-A-Palooza, "Career Concepts is Southern Ontario’s dominant career show, focusing on six key industries: Information Technology, Media/Marketing/Sales, Financial Services, Retail, Progressive Careers and Skilled Trades. Rather than general recruitment, Career Concepts matches qualified candidates with field experience to companies who have job offers in hand. The show also assists with the hiring process, first by pre-screening applicants, then by offering on-site interview rooms and a downloadable resume database," says the press release.
