'The CBC We Want' town hall comes to B.C.

VANCOUVER - British Columbians will have a chance to weigh in on the future direction of the CBC when Friends of Canadian Broadcasting convenes a town hall meeting entitled ‘The CBC We Want’ this Sunday in Vancouver. The event, scheduled for August 12 at the Visitor Centre of the Van Dusen Gardens from 3 pm to 5 pm, will be moderated by Saltspring Island writer, broadcaster, and former host of CBC Radio's Basic Black, Arthur Black.
