TORONTO – Group Média TFO has overhauled the visual identity of its TFO Network, the Ontario-based television resource for educational and cultural content in French.

On-air now, the new identity uses the creative concept of a "Flag of Culture" to emphasize the brand's educational mandate to connect viewers with Francophone culture and the French language. The flag offers a sense of motion, pointing viewers to navigational information, reads the news release.  The new identity also includes images of people with icons of French culture, including macarons and moustaches.

Group Média TFO worked with Hollywood-based entertainment branding and marketing innovations agency Troika on the brand refresh.

"With the collaboration of Troika's creative and talented team, we are launching TFO's new multiplatform identity; it's a fresh, dynamic new take that reflects the brand's human, bright, curious, honest and original qualities”, said Groupe Média TFO president and CEO Glenn O'Farrell, in the release.  “This new visual identity celebrates Francophone culture and also reflects the position of our media company, which is known for its educational content innovation in this digital era."
