Tether eyes enterprise market with 'Internet on the go' app

HALIFAX – Canadian ICT company Tether will unveil a new business-to-business proposition this week at the BlackBerry conference WES 2010 in Orlando, Florida.Launched in March 2009, Tether’s original application links a customer’s laptop to their BlackBerry, allowing high-speed Internet access on the laptop anywhere there is cellular coverage, via their BlackBerry smart phone data plan.Now the company is targeting corporate customers with a B2B offering that will include features such as data security, customization and data controls.
