TerreStar completes testing of new voice and data bird

TORONTO - Mobile communications provider TerreStar Networks has completed its in-orbit testing for TerreStar-1, the world's largest commercial communications satellite.The satellite “met or exceeded all of its performance metrics”, the company announced Thursday, with the key test validating that its 2GHz S Band reflector was performing as designed.
