Telus reports record customer growth, 20% increase in operating revenues

VANCOUVER – Telus announced today its fourth quarter 2021 results, which reports approximately $4.9 billion in consolidated operating revenues and other income for the quarter ended Dec. 31 – a 20% increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2020. This was partly due to a $410 million pre-tax gain from the sale of its financial solutions business, excluding which the increase to Telus’ operating revenues and other income for Q4 2021 would have been 9.9%, according to a press release.
