CALGARY – If you’re unable to attend tomorrow’s Alberta Flood Aid benefit concert, you can watch the event on Telus’ YouTube channel.
Telus announced that it will webcast the Alberta Flood Aid benefit concert live and free of charge for viewers across Canada. The four-hour event, happening in Calgary at McMahon Stadium, kicks off at 6 p.m. MT (8 p.m. ET) Thursday. Telus says it is the largest benefit concert of its size to be live-streamed on the Internet.
Hosted by Canadian comedian Brent Butt, the benefit concert includes artists Jann Arden, Randy Bachman, Tom Cochrane, Matthew Good, Colin James, Loverboy, Corb Lund, Nickelback, Johnny Reid, The Sadies, The Sheepdogs, and Ian Tyson.
In addition to the Telus YouTube channel, it will also be available live on Telus Optik TV channels 675 (HD) and 135 (SD); Optik TV channels 997 (HD) and (9997) SD in Red Deer, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge; and Telus Satellite TV channels 832 (HD) and 399 (SD).
During the show, Telus customers can donate $10 to The Calgary Foundation Flood Rebuilding Fund by texting “ABFLOOD” to 20222.
