Telus promises

VANCOUVER – Telus made three new pledges to its customers Wednesday.

Saying it "is reinforcing its commitment to bringing the wireless industry’s best experience to clients, the western telco announced its Future Friendly Promises. "Built on three pledges – a dependable network, fast client service, and cool new phones – Telus’ Future Friendly Promises are set to raise the bar for client service in the wireless industry," says the press release.

“Telus, as the top-ranked wireless carrier in Canada, has a long track-record of leading the industry in client satisfaction. We are committed to maintaining this reputation and backing it up with three promises that clients can hold us to,” said Robert Blumenthal, Telus senior vice-president of products and services, in the press release.

Here are the company’s commitments:

* Great network promise: Telus stands behind its great network, which extends digital coverage to more than 94% of Canadians coast-to-coast. With this promise, if more than one per cent of a client’s calls are dropped annually, Telus will apply a credit to their account.
* Fast client service promise: Telus promises to quickly answer client service calls. If the promise is not met, the client’s account will be credited.
* New phone promise: Telus is proud to offer cool products clients want to use. Telus promises to offer clients a new phone at least every three years. Clients with data products will receive a great offer on a new device every two years.

The company has kicked off this initiative with the introduction of its “Get where the going’s good” ad campaign which features television, print, radio and in-store advertising.
