Telus makes ‘wise’ choice for next ad campaign

TORONTO – The pint-sized saw whet owl will be the next animal star featured in Telus’ upcoming marketing campaign. The critter received more than 25% of the 460,000 votes submitted through a Facebook campaign launched last month, beating out category finalists the otter and the pot-bellied pig.  As part of the campaign, Telus pledged to give $1 to the Nature Conservancy of Canada for each vote submitted, up to $100,000, a goal met within days of the campaign kick-off.In other news, ever wonder what inspires the choice of music in commercials?
