Telus launches smart home and business security solutions

VANCOUVER — Telus is officially getting into the smart home and business security market with the launch of its Telus SmartHome Security and Telus Secure Business solutions.The announcement comes after the company’s recent acquisition of AlarmForce customers in Western Canada. Earlier this year, Telus purchased approximately 39,000 AlarmForce customer accounts in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan from Bell Canada.Telus SmartHome Security and Telus Secure Business are replacing the AlarmForce brand in the western provinces and are available now in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan, Telus said in a news release.
