WOODSTOCK, ON and SAINT JOHN, NB – Telus said today that its 4G LTE network is now available to its customers in Woodstock, ON. The announcement follows on the heels of yesterday’s 4G LTE network launch for Telus customers in Saint John, NB.
With launches in these two cities, Telus has expanded its presence in both Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. Recently, Telus launched its 4G LTE service in other southwestern Ontario regions including Windsor, Leamington and Brantford. Recent additions in the Atlantic regions include St. John’s, Moncton, Charlottetown and Halifax. The company’s 4G LTE service now covers nearly 70% of the Canadian population.
“Whether it’s on our latest smartphone like the BlackBerry Z10, a tablet or wireless Internet key, more than 24 million Canadian customers in communities like Saint John are now covered by our blazing fast 4G LTE wireless network," said Ken Power, Telus director of sales, in a release. “For the best possible wireless experience we’ve also recently launched our Telus Network Experience app which gives our customers an easy way to report any network issues while on-the-go right from their mobile device.”
