Telus International expands to India with Xavient acquisition

TORONTO and SIMI VALLEY, CA – Telus International is buying U.S.-based global IT consulting and software services company Xavient Information Systems for approximately US$250 million, the companies said Monday. The Telus subsidiary is a global business process and IT services company with almost 28,000 employees around the world, including in Canada, the United States, Europe, Central America, the Philippines and the United Kingdom.Xavient is headquartered in Simi Valley, California and has operations throughout the U.S. and in India, serving customers primarily in the telecommunications, media, entertainment, healthcare, and banking and financial services sectors.Telus International said that the acquisition of Xavient will expand its...
