Telus Health opens crisis support hotline following Saskatchewan stabbings

VANCOUVER — Telus Health announced last week it opened a free 24/7 mental health crisis support hotline through its LifeWorks subsidiary to provide professional emotional support to anyone affected by the tragic stabbings that occurred recently in Saskatchewan. “We know that a crisis or traumatic event like this can trigger overwhelming emotional responses,” reads a Telus Health press release. Anyone in Canada affected by this event can call the free crisis line at 1-844-751-2133, where they will receive counselling support and/or referral to community resources, the release explains.
