Telus gives $400,000 to Ottawa-area youth charities

OTTAWA - Grassroots youth-focused charities in the Ottawa region received a $400,000 financial boost from the Telus Ottawa Community Board this year. The Board has supported 29 local organizations that work to educate and empower youth to reach their full potential. Since it was launched in 2005, the Board has contributed more than $3.3 million to support 203 local projects that help to improve education, health and quality of life for youth in Ottawa.
