Telus extends wireless to interior BC communities with $2.2 million project

REVELSTOKE, B.C. - Telus is investing $2.2 million to bring new wireless coverage to more than 35 kilometres of difficult terrain along Highway 1 between Malakwa and Revelstoke, as part of a strategic partnership with the province. The first of two sites bringing coverage to the area, located about 30 kilometres west of Revelstoke, is now live. Telus expects that the second site, north of Mt. Griffin Ecological Reserve, will go live within the next month.
