Telus expands 5G to several B.C. towns

BRITISH COLUMBIA — Telus announced today it has expanded its 5G network to several British Columbia communities as part of the company’s $13-billion investment in infrastructure and operations in the province through 2024. The new B.C. communities that now have Telus 5G coverage are Fort St. James, Bulkley-Nechako, Houston, Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Port Hardy. Telus says it is expanding its 5G network to an additional 529 new communities across Canada and will cover more than 70% of the country’s population by the end of the year.
