BRITISH COLUMBIA — Residents and businesses in five more B.C. communities now have access to Telus Communications’ 5G network, the Vancouver-headquartered telecom company announced yesterday. The B.C. towns that now have Telus 5G coverage are Campbell River, Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland and Saanich. This expansion of its 5G network is part of the company’s larger $13-billion investment in infrastructure and operations in B.C. through 2024, according a press release. Telus says by the end of the year more than 70% of the population across Canada will have access to its 5G network.
