Telus announces investments in Lloydminster, Stony Plain, Whistler, Squamish, Prince George


TELUS ANNOUNCED TODAY it is investing $9 million in Lloydminster and Stony Plain, Alberta and $27 million in Whistler, Squamish and Prince George, British Columbia in 2022.

In Alberta, the company is investing $3 million in Lloydminster and $6 million in Stony Plain. These investments are part of a previously announced $17-billion investment Telus is making in operations, infrastructure and spectrum in Alberta now through 2026. In British Columbia, Telus is investing $8 million in Whistler and Squamish and $19 million in Prince George to connect residents to its PureFibre and 5G networks. These announcements are part of the previously announced $17.5 billion Telus committed to investing in operations, infrastructure and spectrum in B.C. from now through 2026.
