
Also investing $28.5 million in Burnaby
MONTREAL, GATINEAU and BURNABY – Telus announced today residents in the Outaouais, Lanaudière and Laurentides regions of Quebec now have access to the company’s 5G network, and that it is investing $28.5 million in Burnaby this year.
In the Outaouais region, communities including Gatineau, Cantley and Chelsea now have access to Telus’s 5G network, according to a press release. This is part of the company’s $9 billion investment in Quebec through 2024.
In the Lanaudière and Laurentides regions, 30 communities now have access to Telus’s 5G network as part of Telus’s $3 million investment in the regions this year. “Communities include Blainville, Joliette, Lavaltrie, L’Assomption, Mirabel, Saint-Eustache, Saint-Jérôme, Saint-Roche-de-L’Achigan, Sainte-Thérèse and Terrebonne,” says another press release.
The $28.5 million Telus announced it is investing in Burnaby this year is part of the company’s $13 billion investment in British Columbia through 2024, a third press release says.
Telus investments in Burnaby include building new wireless infrastructure and connecting more homes and businesses to the company’s PureFibre network, the press release says.
