Telus announces $195M in investments across B.C.’s Lower Mainland

BURNABY, NEW WESTMINSTER, RICHMOND, SURREY and VANCOUVER — Telus announced last Friday several investments it is making in B.C. cities as part of its previously announced $17.5-billion investment in infrastructure, operations and spectrum across the province of British Columbia through 2026. Telus is investing $40 million in Burnaby, $13 million in New Westminster, $4 million in Richmond, $33 million in Surrey and $105 million in Vancouver. All of the press releases for these announcements say the investments “will connect more local homes and businesses to the PureFibre network and expand access to Telus’ 5G network.”
