Teliphone Navigata-Westel acquires Next Layer data centres

VANCOUVER – Teliphone Navigata-Westel Communication Inc., a subsidiary of Teliphone Corp., announced today it has completed its acquisition of Vancouver-based Next Layer Inc. Next Layer Inc. will change its name to Teliphone Data Centers Inc. It currently provides cloud services and operates four data centres in Canada with a fifth under construction in Kamloops, B.C. The Kamloops facility will become Teliphone’s national disaster recovery centre due to its geologically stable location, which is located within Teliphone’s own protected fibre ring for high availability data services.
