Telesat unveils new mobile-friendly website, new app

OTTAWA - Telesat today launched its new mobile-friendly website which features an improved design and enhanced satellite fleet functionality using Google Earth. Telesat says it developed the new site based on input from customers and industry experts. The company has also released a new mobile app available for Android and iOS devices. The app provides satellite coverage maps for Telesat's fleet that are searchable by region and satellite name, EIRP and G/T contours within the satellite coverage maps, information on key satellite parameters and contact information for Telesat's headquarters, regional offices and sales offices.
