OTTAWA – Telesat announced Wednesday it has signed a multi-year contract to provide consulting services to Al Yah Satellite Communications Company PrJsc (Yahsat) during the construction of its first two satellites.
“Telesat’s selection as the technical consultant for this project underscores Telesat’s deep experience with highly complex and innovative satellite technologies,” said Telesat President and CEO Dan Goldberg. “Telesat is honoured to be selected by Yahsat to support this important project.”
Telesat will consult on the construction of Yahsat’s new satellites, and monitor their launch and in-orbit testing.
