Telesat signs capacity deal on T11N

OTTAWA – Telesat has signed a multi-year agreement with Intersat Africa for more than a full transponder on its new Telstar 11N satellite. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, broadband provider Intersat is using the Ku-band capacity of Telstar 11N to extend IP broadband to business, government, educational institutions and others across the southern and western parts of Africa.
