MONTREAL - Roxane Girard has been named director of the television business unit for Telefilm Canada.She was previously director of television for the French market, a position she had held since April 2006. Before joining the television team at Telefilm, Girard was general manager of enterprise funding at the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles du Québec (SODEC). She also sat on the board of directors and investment board for both the Fonds d’investissement de la culture et des communications (FICC) and the Financière des entreprises culturelles (FIDEC).www.telefilm.gc.ca
