Telefilm Canada pledges more than $4M for lower budget films

MONTREAL - Telefilm Canada is supporting 18 lower budget English-language productions (with budgets under $2.5 million) from the Ontario and Nunavut, Western as well as Atlantic regions through the Canada Feature Film Fund.The total allocation for the productions selected, in the second quarter of 2013-2014, is slightly over $4 million, the organization said.www.telefilm.ca
