Telefilm Canada pledges $11M for six new English-language feature films

MONTREAL – Telefilm Canada is supporting six English-language productions with more than $11 million in funding through the Canada Feature Film Fund.The films, which hail from the Atlantic, Ontario and Nunavut, and Western regions, star Ellen Page, Ethan Hawke, Evan Rachel Wood, Sophie Nélisse and Callum Keith Rennie, among others."This line-up once again speaks to the diversity found in Canadian cinema," said executive director Carolle Brabant, in the news release.
